It is available to import external fonts to VDIT and use them for video editing.
Available font formats to browse: .ttf, .otf, .ttc
📁 Import from Files
- Tap the [Font] - [+Import] menu.
- Tap the [Import from Files] menu.
- Select a font file to import.
*Importing fonts from Google Drive is currently unavailable due to a system error.
🔤 Import from your device
*This is only available on iOS 13 or higher. Please update your iOS version if you want to import fonts from your device.
- Tap the [Font] - [+Import] menu.
- Tap the [Import from your device] menu.
- Choose a font file to import.
📱 Import a font with [VDIT]
Import a font into VDIT if it's stored on your device or other applications and is compatible with the iOS Share menu.
- Select a font, and tap the icon to share.
- Tap the [VDIT] icon to import the font file.
🖥 Import a font from Mac with AirDrop
- Share a font you like to import with AirDrop.
- Tap the [VDIT] menu.
- Tap the [Install] button.
- Check whether the font is installed well.
⚠️ Please make sure the font file is not copyright protected!
The VDIT fonts are copyright-free. However, some of the external fonts that are imported might be copyright protected. Consequently, they may not be available for commercial use. For more information, please check with the font providers before using it.
