It is available to import external fonts to VDIT and use them for video editing.
Available font formats to browse: .ttf, .otf, .ttc
📁 Import from Files
- Tap [+Import] on the Font menu.
- Tap [Import from Files] to open the File app.
- Browse to the location of the font file, and select the font file to import it directly on VDIT.
*It is unavailable to import fonts from Google Drive currently because of its own system error.
🔤 Import from your device
*This is only available on iOS 13 or higher. If not, this will be unseen on VDIT.
- Tap [+Import] on the Font menu.
- Tap [Import from your device].
- Select a font to import directly on VDIT.
📱 Import a font with [VDIT]
If a font file was saved on your device or other apps and the file is compatible with the iOS share menu, you can import the font file to VDIT.
- Select a font, and tap the icon to share.
- Tap [VDIT] and import the font file directly to VDIT.
🖥 Import a font from Mac with AirDrop
- Share a font you like to import using AirDrop.
- Tap [VDIT].
- Tap [Install] to install the font.
- Use the font installed on the Font menu.
⚠️ Please make sure the font file is not copyright protected!
The fonts installed on VDIT are copyright-free. But when you import external fonts, some of them might be copyright protected so they might not be available to use for commercial purposes. Please check with the font providers for copyright information before using the font.
