How to use Chroma key

💡 Using Chroma Key, you can replace a specific color detected in the footage/image with another image or background. It is useful for changing backgrounds or adding virtual backgrounds. Green and blue are commonly used on chroma key screens to easily separate contrasting colors in the background and foreground.

How to use Chroma key feature

• Easily create an editing effect that plays the video inside the iPad/monitor with Chroma key.

1. Open the video you want to play on your iPad(ocean video).

2. Tap the 'PIP' menu and select the video with the chroma key added(video with iPad).

3. Resize the PIP clip to the appropriate size.

4. Tap the 'Chroma key' menu and drag an area to specify the chroma key.

5. Tap the 'Properties' menu and adjust the strength and softness of the chroma key to give it a more natural look.

6. Play the clip and check the ocean clip only appearing in the area you've selected.

How to use Chroma key Stock

• VDIT Stock - Chroma key utilizes a technology that automatically detects green areas, simplifying the process of applying chroma key effects to videos.

1. Open the video you want to edit.

2. Tap the 'PIP' menu, then 'Stock' - 'Chroma key'.

3. Add the chroma key stock you want to add as an effect to your video clip.
