💡If you're finding it difficult to edit or upload videos due to their large size, then this guide is for you. By following steps below, you'll soon be able to reduce the size of your videos effortlessly.
1. Adjust FPS(Frame Per Second)
FPS refers to the number of frames per second. In movie, TV, and video game content, 24 FPS is often used because it creates natural and smooth movement. High FPS makes the video move smoothly, but it is also the main reason for the large size of the video file. Therefore, if you want to reduce the size of the video, try adjusting the FPS first. VDIT provides five different FPS options: 24, 25, 30, 50, and 60 FPS. You can find the FPS options on the [Edit] - [Save] page.
2. Trim Videos
You can easily reduce the size of your video file by trimming the length of your video clip. If there's a part of your video that feels unnecessary or long, tap and drag the playback track to trim it.
3. Avoid excessive transitions/effects
Reducing the number of added editing elements, such as transitions, effects, and sound effects, can also help reduce the size of your video file. Of course, this method can produce a different result, so it's advisable to try it when adjusting the FPS or trimming the footage hasn't reduced the size enough.
