💡 Error 3002 usually occurs when importing photos or videos due to the file’s storage location (iCloud), network connection, or available storage on your device. Please follow the steps below in order.
Step 1: Check if the file is stored on your device
This error is most likely to occur when the original file is not fully saved on your device.
- Open the Photos app and make sure the photo or video is fully downloaded to your device. Once the download is complete, try importing it again in the app.
Step 2: Make sure you have enough storage space
If your device is low on storage, importing photos or videos may fail.
- How to check: Settings > General > iPhone Storage
Step 3: Check your network connection
A stable network connection is required to download files stored in iCloud.
- We recommend using a stable Wi-Fi connection.
🔍 Still having trouble?
If the issue persists, please check the following:
- Did you see a download process when entering the edit screen in the Photos app?
- If the original file is stored on your device: You will enter the edit screen immediately.
- If the file is stored only in iCloud: A download will start before you enter the edit screen. If a download occurred, please wait until it finishes and then try adding the clip again.
